Tired of your technical prints detaching mid-process? Magigoo Pro PPGF is the ultimate industrial adhesive specifically designed for glass fiber-reinforced polypropylene (PPGF) filaments. This 3D printing glue acts as a thermally activated interface layer, providing exceptional holding power when the bed is hot and completely minimizing the risk of warping or deformation.

Technical filaments like glass-filled polypropylene offer superior mechanical strength, but their high tendency to shrink due to differential cooling makes them difficult to adhere to conventional glass surfaces. Magigoo PPGF's advanced formulation optimizes the micro and molecular level interaction between the equipment bed and the technical plastic. Thanks to its temperature-sensitive technology, the adhesive softens when reheating the print surface after the process, facilitating safe part removal without breaking the glass or damaging the model's base.

With this professional consumable, you will ensure the repeatability and reliability of your functional parts from the first layer. It is a water-based product, clean and safe to handle in industrial or desktop environments, easily cleaned with running water without the need for harsh solvents.

Main Features

  • Specialized high-performance adhesion: Designed exclusively for fixing glass fiber-reinforced polypropylene (PP-GF30) filaments.
  • Total warping control: Drastically reduces corner deformations caused by differential cooling of technical plastics.
  • Heat-assisted safe removal: Facilitates part removal by reheating the bed to 70°C - 90°C, protecting the integrity of your glass surface.
  • Spring-activated valve: Its smart applicator prevents product waste and accidental adhesive spills.
  • Eco-friendly water-based formula: Non-flammable, safe mixture that cleans easily with a damp sponge.

Product Advantages

Unlike generic fixing sprays or traditional adhesive tapes, Magigoo Pro PPGF offers a calibrated chemical solution for the non-stick nature of polypropylene. Common solutions often fail against the enormous contraction force exerted by glass fiber as it cools, ruining hours-long prints.

Its great value proposition lies in clean dispensing and operational cost savings: you don't need to apply flammable sprays that dirty the axes and fans of the 3D printer. Furthermore, heat-optimized removal eliminates the need for brute force with spatulas, extending the lifespan of your glass printing platforms.

Ideal for

  • Engineers and industrial designers who manufacture functional prototypes or mechanical tools with advanced composite filaments (such as Owens Corning XSTRAND GF30-PP).
  • 3D printing services (Hubs) that need to guarantee the highest success rate in repeatable and reliable production environments.
  • Professional enclosed 3D printer users (such as Ultimaker S5 or BCN3D systems) who regularly work with high-shrinkage technical materials.

Frequently asked questions

How to properly apply Magigoo Pro PPGF to the 3D printer? First, you must shake the bottle vigorously. To apply the product, press the felt tip directly against the cold glass base to activate the internal spring valve. Spread a generous and even layer over the designated print area before starting the machine's heating.

Is it necessary to use a brim when printing with this adhesive? Yes, it is highly recommended to use a single-layer brim with a width of 20 mm for optimal results and to completely mitigate warping in fiberglass polypropylene parts.

What should I do if the finished part sticks too much to the build plate? Unlike other adhesives, Magigoo PPGF softens with heat. Reheat the print bed to between 70°C and 90°C to soften the interface and remove the part with a spatula or by carefully peeling off the brim. If adhesion persists, add a small amount of water to the edges to allow it to penetrate under the model and dissolve the protective layer.

How do I clean excess adhesive from the glass build plate? As it is a water-based compound, simply wipe it with a damp cloth or sponge. Upon contact with water, the adhesive will form a white film that is easy to scrub off with the abrasive side of the sponge; then, dry the surface with absorbent paper.

Can I reuse the adhesive layer for several consecutive prints? It is advisable to clean the surface and reapply the adhesive between each work session. The removal of a printed part usually compromises the homogeneity and structural integrity of the previous adhesive layer, reducing its effectiveness.
